EXCESS 246 founder is Karen Wall. Mrs. Wall is an Award Winning Educator- she is a recipient of the Royal Fidelity Teacher of the year for Special Needs for the year 2018 . She holds a first Degree in Education with Upper Second Class Honours with an emphasis in Special Needs from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill along with a Diploma in Primary Education from the Erdiston Teachers Training College. Mrs. Wall also holds a Masters in e-Governance for Developing States with the key focus of her studies being the Use of Information and Communication Technologies in Primary and Special Education. Mrs. Wall is very passionate about the use and integration of technology in education and has therefore done extensive training in the areas of Primary and Special Education and Technology Integration. Mrs. Wall began her career at the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation as a Reporter and then a Research Officer. Exposure to the CBC's Research and Information Department helped in her teaching career, which began in 2007. 
Mrs. Wall, in addition, to teaching conducts  Teacher Training Workshops, Parent Education Workshops and has been a presenter at the Girls in ICTs Conference held annually. 
In addition to the above mentioned qualifications, Mrs. Wall has engaged in training  both Online and Face-to-Face  which has earned her several certificates .
